2010-04-25 First foals of this year are here! Both are sired by Ryn, the first one, a filly out of Cilka, was born April 11, the second, Aida's colt, popped out, unaided, in the foaling box two days ago at about 6 a.m. Both healthy and doing well
2010-03-07 Saturday, March 6, the equestrian statue of T.G.Masaryk was unveiled at Lany, in front of the Masaryk Museum. Despite the wintery weather, so many people attended the celebration that our four Huculs were hard to see among the throng. Still, the Hucul Club guard of honor Saluted the president properly, with the club flag.
 The statue is bronze, the horse in a resting pose seems to be checking out the flowers brought by the attendees, Mr. President seems pensive and a little worried, as if wondering about the course that the Republic is steering…
2010-03-03 Sunday, March 7th, marks the 160th anniversary of birth of the first president of Czechoslovakia, Thomas Garrigue Masaryk. The occassion is marked by uveiling of a sculpture of him, mounted, in front of the T.G. Masaryk Museum in Lany. Hucul Club will be in attendance! A four-member mounted guard of honour will carry our flag to the event.
2010-03-02 There was not much snow for this year’s Valentine lantern ride, but everybody had a good time anyway. There are some photos in the galery.
2010-02-01 Never a dull moment around horses!  At 10pm a phone call came that there is a bunch of our horses on the freeway near Orech. What a sight! Blinking lights, highway closed, several police cruisers. Like something from an action movie – here are a few pictures. And the herd walking toward us, followed by a crawling queue of cars…
But of course that was not all of them – another bunch was some place else in the dark. Fanda followed their tracks, Lesa drove around where the roads were passable (lots are still snowed in). But luckily the horses aren’t dumb, they  made a wide detour toward home, and eventually, led by Mates who somehow caught up with them, arrived back at the farm.
Seems the horses were bored by the lack of activities, took off the corral gate rails and had themselves an interesting outing that kept everyone occupied till the wee hours of morning.
AND got us into the news – TV Nova carried the story on the morning news.
2010-01-25 The weather is not co-operating yet, but the planning for summer is going ahead. This year’s camp will take place July 3 - 17, 2009. Meanwhile, make your own plans and if you like, re-vist the horses in the galleries.
2009-12-12 PWe haveostavili jsme nový porodní box v corralu za stodolou. Ještě nemá podlahu, ale už vypadá docela pěkně. Těšíme se, že se v něm budou rodit samá nádherná a zdravá hříbata. Wann'a see some pix? (with music, no less!)
